Introducing Kylie

I haven’t *formally* introduced this leggy lady yet, but you may have noticed from my Instagram stories that we welcomed a major life change this fall by becoming dog owners. A neighbor of ours needed to re-home this sweet but cat-crazed hunting dog, and we decided to finally take the plunge into dog ownership by giving her a home with us. Kylie is a 2 year old Bluetick Coonhound – a breed that is known for being sweet, loyal, food-motivated, and smart but stubborn (she lives up to the reputation!). It’s definitely been an adjustment for us all (in many ways, dogs are more work than my three kids combined!), but she’s SUCH a sweet snuggler and we can’t get enough of the cuddles and those floppy ears.
